AQUA KING™ II Premium Fresh Water Pump - 12VDC - 4.0 GPM

SHURFLOr's AQUA KING II fresh water pump is designed for boats with multi-fixtures providing "Just like home" shower pressure, and can operate at lower flow conditions with low cycling. A built in mechanical bypass function enables these pumps to vary the flow rate for any on demand condition, without the need for an accumulator. With a heavy duty motor built to withstand the tough marine environment, this motor features an electro-coated seamless shell motor, O-ring sealed end bells, and complete sealed wire entries on the motor shell and pressure switch. The AQUA KING II fresh water pump can run dry without damage. Inlet strainer and 1/2" hose barb fittings are included (aftermarket models only). Ignition protected. Thermally protected.

I bought this pump to replace the original belt-driven pump in my boat. The original pump was the same amperage as this one, but this one delivers better pressure to the faucets. It's now a scenario that the pressure flow is restricted by the faucets and shower head, not the pump itself. This pump is also quiet. That said, I do not want a silent pump in my boat. if the pump is cycling due to a leak somewhere, I want to hear it. This makes enough noise for that purpose but it is not noisy enough…

If you purchase this pump, via a third party the manufacturer will NOT honor the warranty! Pump lasted 8 months 7days!

We live aboard our boat full time. These as well as other brands all use the same pressure switch which fails after a few months. Don’t buy the switch from the pump manufacturer. They’re $3.00 online elsewhere. I changed out to a stand alone pressure switch and solved the problem. Use a LeFoo pressure switch available on Amazon. Other than that it’s a great pump
