Simply put, a Marine Inverter converts your DC power, from your 12 - volt battery banks, into AC power. This allows you to run household appliances onboard when not connected to shore power. Inverters are available in two different type models, which we classify as Modified Sine Wave (MSW) & True Sine Wave (TSW). However, they perform extremely well with sensitive electronics.
