Lost brand new delta anchor first day we used It in the Atlantic. This one is exact replacement hopefully won’t lose.

This anchor bits in instantly and holds all day. Using it on a 27 foot Crownline Windlass.

Great anchor. I thought it would be a polished stainless steel anchor but it is not polished.

The Delta anchors are the best for a cobble, rocky, or hard bottom that is difficult to penetrate and also work fine in sand. However, they're not so good in mud. They penetrate but don't hold in mud unless it's the heavy sticky type. We had a 25? pound one on our trawler and found it great in river cobble (always penetrated and held) where the Danforth type had problems penetrating. In almost every case, when we tried the Delta in mud it dragged if the wind was strong.

I just want to say I use this Anchor when i have 3 or 4 boats tie up with me and it holds all of us in winds up to about 10 mph. Now with the shipping it scared me that it said 3-5 weeks however, the two times I have ordered the Anchor (a buddy wanted one for his birthday) it has been delivered to my house in 3 days. I don't understand why they don't just change the shipping to say that. I am very impressed with the way it is built and the look of it. Now only if I could find something to clean

My boat weighs over 6500lbs and this anchor stops it with no problem. Great piece of equipment
