Great option for those who don't want to put more holes in your hull. It works just as well as a through hull as far as I can tell, EXCEPT for not having a water temp reading.

Installed this myself without issue. Works as designed. We are now able to safely navigate smaller coves on the lake with confidence.

Works as it should doesn't pull water temp other than that gt15 in hull transducer works as it should up to 40mph . Installed in my seadoo rxt-x 300 st3 hull next to the oem one no issues

Hidden in the website is info telling you that this transducer will not wok on wood bottom boats.I wasted lots of time.

I tested the location with a ziplock bag filled with water before committing to glueing down the tank. I used no toxic antifreeze in the tank. The 742XS is connected to my NMEA 2000 network so I now have depth information available for other instruments on the network. Fishfinder function is only available on the connected 742XS as was

I bought the kit so I could install my gps/depth finder in my skidoo. I have the transducer mounted in the back near the center and this kit provided the exact angle I needed to get the transducer to point straight down through and angled hull. A little glue and anti freeze and it works like a champ.FYI, I am too cheap to pay someone else $300 to install my gps/finder on my jetski (a 1 hour job). I won't do something like this unless I am pretty confident I can do it myself. I did a little "JF
