After years of broken mounting brackets and the wobble of a relatively inexpensive compass, I broke down and bought this model which is larger than anticipated. If you check the Richie site, they show one dimensioning (scaled) diagram,but leave out the width of the assembly which is about 5.5 inches and the same (5.5) in height, and 4.5 inches in depth.
