Xantrex Freedom X & XC Remote Panel w/Bluetooth & 25' Network Cable

Works fine, did not have any issues with Bluetooth. Can check status remotely while in cockpit for example. Also setting up parameters is much easier on the phone. The only issue that it bricked itself during the firmware update but xantex support sent me a new one with no issue. New one has up to date firmware, so no need to update.Much cheaper than victron alternative for remote control of inverter charger.

If I pull up the application right now it will search and search using Bluetooth looking for the device that is 3 feet away and not finding it. I will need to press a button on the panel to wake it up and maybe then it will connect. But most of the time 90% of the time I have to press and hold escape to put the unit in pairing mode then the application can discover it. I have other devices that use Bluetooth to communicate with the application and they make a connection within a few seconds …without fail. This requires an entire repairing process each time you want to pull up the app to look at the process. Disappointing

Installation was straight forward, even used the original wiring and was able to avoid a lot of work of having to reroute new wiring.

Plug & play. I use the android app which is great for observing what's going on with my boats' charging system. Easy installation instructions with hole template. Turns off display when not touched which is greta so it won't light up the cabin at night.

Gives all your important readings on the monitor or Bluetooth to your phone. Plus a lot easier to change the inverter settings than the monitor mounted on the inverter.That being said, even when plugged into shore power you have to leave the pwr on to use the Bluetooth, if you turn the main pwr button off you have to pair it up again.So if you don’t mind paying a $100 more for the convenience of Bluetooth vs non Bluetooth monitor it’s worth it.

This was a replacement for my non-Bluetooth controller. Took all of 5 minutes to install & pair with my phone! No more pushing buttons 12 times to set a parameter…

I've been using an XC2000 Freedom for a few years with the standard remote panel. This is a welcome upgrade. I recently installed a DIY lithium chemistry battery and being able to easily change the charger settings has made this worth it.Cool to see the display of information on the app. In my dream world this thing could communicate with my Victron gear and Cerbo.One star off for zero Bluetooth security such as a pin. While I think the risks are super low.... someone could seriously screw up y…our settings and possibly cause damage.No issues with Bluetooth connectivity.
