Shipping Policy

Captain’s Marine Supply, LLC is pleased to provide the following "Domestic" Freight Pricing Schedule for the "Lower 48 States Only".

We currently utilize FedEx, UPS & USPS. Noted below, please find our Freight Pricing Categories, effective 05/26/2023. Published Freight rates are subject to change without notice:

 *The N/C Freight Policy applies only to “most stock items” over $99.00 in value that are not "Oversized" & or "Overweight", & only on shipments to the "Lower 48 States”.

Any shipment to Alaska or Hawaii can only be shipped via USPS Priority or Express Mail provided the weight of the item(s) is under 70 lbs. This is the least expensive shipping method for the purchaser.

If the weight exceeds 70 lbs. then the item must ship via UPS or FedEx. In this case the purchaser is responsible for all applicable freight charges.

Standard Shipping Times:

Most stock items typically ship within 24 hrs. of placement. If you require expedited shipping of an item(s) that we currently have in-stock, we will do our upmost to accommodate your request, via the use of UPS or FedEx next-day, or 2^nd day air service provided the item is not considered a Hazmat item. An additional surcharge will apply on any Oversized item(s) in the amount of $80.00 relative to 2^nd Day or Overnight shipments. This surcharge may be subject to change without notice.  

Rush orders that require expedited shipment, must be placed by 3:00 PM EST to qualify for either next day or 2^nd day delivery. No shipments are made from our facilities on Saturday, Sunday or Holidays. Exceptions to our same day shipping policy are noted below:

Prepaid Freight Guidelines:

Minimum Dollar order size for “Prepaid” freight, via Standard Shipping Method, is $99.00. Exceptions to Prepaid Freight are:

Any Shipment to Alaska or Hawaii, Special Order Items, International Order Items, Truck Freight Items, & Drop-Ship Items direct from the Manufacturer.

Freight Policy: “Oversized” & “Overweight” Items

All items designated as “Oversized” or “Overweight”, or both, will be shipped via a Common LTL Freight Carrier and the purchaser is responsible for all associated freight charges. We will supply a freight rate quote, upon request, to the prospective purchaser. Should the purchaser agree to accept the freight rate quoted, we will invoice the customer for the freight rate quoted separately from the invoice for the item(s) purchased.

Hazmat:

Any marine component classified as a “Hazmat” item must ship via “Ground Service Only” within the “lower 48 states”. Items designated as “Hazmat” may incur additional shipping charges.

International Freight & Freight Forwarder’s:

If you are placing an order(s) for international shipment, you hereby agree that the possession & ownership of the item(s) transfers from us, the seller, to you, the purchaser, at the time of pickup, by the carrier, at the seller’s or manufacturer’s place of business. Please provide a complete & accurate delivery address along with applicable shipping instructions to us. In addition, you are responsible for complying with any foreign customs or importing regulations & requirements.  You also have the responsibility to pay for any & all applicable import duties, tariffs, taxes & fees.
