The SG-DA51600 is FUSION's first 5 Channel Class-D Hi-Fi Marine amplifier; the key benefit of a Class-D amplifier is low battery drain with a high output, making this the perfect amplifier for the marine environment. The SD-DA51600 has conformal coated PCB's for maximum product life and performance plus the amplifier chassis acts as a heat sink; reducing component core temperature and increasing efficiency.

Undeniably a stand out piece; the stunning stainless steel mirror install panel offers practical confinement of all cable connections and tuning controls, while delivering good looks that complement any installation. Outputs include Subwoofer plus four speaker channels for sound front and rear. RCA line-level inputs are included, for easy connection to new or existing systems.

Replaced the previous same exact amp. The previous amp lasted around 3 years in heavy salt water condition. Works great with the entire fusion speakers/sub/head unit. Sound is amazing. Easy to tune different zones bass levels. Easy to install wire connections.

One would expect quality from the Garmin name.Started dropping channels... Lost the sub woofer channel down to TWO out of five.Stay away from Fusion amplifiers is what I was told.

This amp rocks. I know some people have had problems with it not lasting longer than a couple years. But that’s very few and honestly if it lasts a couple years in a saltwater environment then that’s money well spent. My JL amp burned out after 8 months of use in saltwater boat. Bought this amp and do not regret it. Garmin product. High standards.

orderd a new one to replace one only a couple years old. I bought in December and the new one is already dead in mid feb. useless piece of garbage.

Same issue as others - starting burning out channels out of warranty. A one year warranty on equipment this expensive is a joke. I won't be buying another Fusion Audio product

Purchased the MS-DA51600 and it failed within 18 months of purchase. Fusion Electronics refused to extend the warranty even though the replacement model SG-DA51600 is offered with a 3 year warranty. It turns out the MS-DA51600 uses really cheap, low quality Capacitors made in China inside. While all 1600 watt amps can run hot, using crap components is a recipe for failure.
