For a hunter who hunts in the backwoods where a cell phone won't work, this antenna is a necessity to communicate with other hunters whether they are trying to find dogs that are lost or treed or if someone's truck becomes stuck in mud. For general use or emergency use where a phone won't pick up, this antenna adds to a hunter's (and his wife's) piece of mind.
