Old 17in pitch props caused my engines to over rev while my 28 ft boat struggled to stay on plane at 4000 rpm. Now cruising around 25mph at 3500rpm with 19inprops, 4blade

Ran this for a season now. This prop does everything right. It's all true what you have read when switching from a 3 blade to a 4 blade with the exception of one thing. I did not loose any top speed. The holeshot is incredible. Low speed manaverability is so much better "I can dock her on a dime" The minimum plane speed is much slower when it come time to tackle some big swells. I feel there is no need to go the stainless route if your engine is rated under 300 hp. I've had several boats that I… switch to some big dollar 4 blade props but never had near this much improvement. The prop that came with our boat had seen better days. After running that one and changing to our new prop, it was night and day. Handles great, quieter and worth the buy.
